Bacon Breakfast casserole ( Great for over night guests )

8 slices white bread
8 slices of bacon, crispy cooked and crumbled
1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 green onions, sliced ( or I just used 1/2 sm onion diced sm.)
1 1/2 c. shredded mild cheddar
4 eggs beaten
2 c. milk

Place 4 of the bread slices on the bottom of a greased 8 in. sq. baking dish. spread mushrooms , onions and cheese over bread. Cover with remaining 4 slices of bread. Whisk eggs and milk till well blended, pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate 1 hr. Bake un-covered at 350 F for 1 hr. Let stand for 10 min. before cutting to serve
