Pastors Pam and Dan Gansch-Boythe of St. Paul's United Church of Christ said prayers and gave a sermon at the ceremony.

Ray Borens on the left is shown with Fieldcrest Superintendent Michael Stagliano at the Memorial Day ceremony held Monday at the Fieldcrest High School gymnasium. Mr. Borens, who will 95 next month, is Minonk's oldest living veteran. He entered service when he was 36 years old and participated in the European Theater during World War II.
