Snow storm and old pop bottle - February 23, 2003
A heavy wet snow blanketed the Minonk area the middle of February.
|
Downtown Minonk had 5 foot high snow banks of cleared snow from the streets.
|
An old Minonk pop bottle from around 1900 was sold for over $235 on Ebay because of
its unique design featuring a pistol on its face. The bottle had the words "Davison
& Welch" on it.
