Caramel Candy Bars
Makes 25 to 28
1(14oz.) pkg. caramel candies
Melt caramels and milk over low heat and set aside. Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda, salt and eggs. Stir in margarine until crumbly. Press 1/2 of oatmeal mix into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake 10 minutes in 350 degree oven. Sprinkle immediately with chocolate chips, spread caramel sauce over chips, add nuts and remaining oatmeal mix. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool 30 minutes. Loosen from sides of pan. Cool and cut into bars.
