Minonk Electric Light & Power Company office

The first power company in Minonk was the Minonk Electric Light & Power Company which was located in the alley in the 400 block between Chestnut and Walnut Streets. The building was last occupied by Herman's Body Shop in the 1960's before it was torn down. This photo shows the office of the electric company. The photo is from the estate of the late Carola Antons and was provided by her nephew Donald Grampp.
