Potato Chip Cookies

1 lb. butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup crushed potato chips
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups sifted flour
1 cup chopped pecans

Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in potato chips and vanilla. Add flour slowly. Mix in the nuts. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 18 minutes until lightly browned at 350 degrees.
