The Fieldcrest Board of Education initiated dismissal proceedings for Fieldcrest Principal William Lapp at a special board meeting Monday night. Mr. Lapp is currently not working. It is rumored that the issue is about vaccinations and testing. There is no mandate for vaccination at this time and therefore cannot be required. However, testing is included in the mandate and required of all employees, if not vaccinated. Fieldcrest Superintendent Dr. Kari Rockwell declined to comment other than stating the board is initiating dismissal proceedings.
