MinonkTalk Apps

There are two apps for MinonkTalk avaiable for smartphones and similar devices. The apps are web based apps which means they look similar to the desk top versions of MinonkTalk but on a smaller scale. These apps are available for Android devices and the Iphone. Below are instructions for downloading the apps to your smartphones.

Android Systems

1. This method involves selecting a specific URL address for the app you wish to add to your phone. This method will not do an installation but rather creates a link to the app you wish to use.
2. Bring up your Chrome browser and enter the following URL address in the address box at the top - For MinonkTalk enter "www.minonktalk.com/mobile/indexm.aspx" and hit the Go or arrow button to bring up the web page.

3. The above action should display the webpage in your browser.
4. In the upper right hand corner of the webpage touch the settings icon which looks like this : .
5. Select the Add to Home screen option.
6. Type in the name you wish to use for the icon on your home screen.

Iphone

1. The method for installing the apps on an Iphone is similar to that using Method 2 for Android devices. This method will not do an installation but rather creates a link to the app you wish to use.
2. Bring up your Safari browser and enter the one of the following URL address in the address box at the top - For MinonkTalk enter "www.minonktalk.com/mobile/indexm.aspx" and hit the Go or arrow button to bring up the web page.
3. The above action should display the webpage in your browser.
4. At the bottom middle of the webpage touch the settings icon which looks like this .
5. Select the Add to Home screen option.
6. Type in the name you wish to use for the icon on your home screen.
