Minonk's 38th Annual Parade of Lights drew probably the biggest crowd in memory as the weather was relatively mild and people were enjoying an escape from the confining conditions imposed by the ongoing COVID pandemic. People mingled in a holiday atmosphere in an attempt to restore normalcy to their lives after a 2 year pandemic that has restricted social events.

Last year's parade was not held due to the pandemic. The resumption of the parade this year continues the tradition of Minonk as having one of the oldest and best parade of lights in the state. Fireworks preceded the start of the parade with over 35 floats, all of excellent quality. Below are pictures of some of the floats.
