A huge crowd turned out Friday for the Annual Veterans Bowl between the Fieldcrest Knights and the Eureka Hornets at Veterans Park in Minonk. The Knights delivered a thrilling 21-17 victory and remained the number one ranked team in the State 2A football division. This is the first year that Fieldcrest has been ranked number one in the state and area fans are eagerly awaiting the state playoffs.
