Fieldcrest East takes second in state baseball

Fieldcrest East Junior High took second place in the Illinois Elementary School
Association Class A State Baseball Tournament. Fieldcrest suffered its first
loss of the season Saturday when it lost to Jacksonville Our Saviour in the title game by a score
of 6-5. The Knights defeated Dieterich 13-7 in the semifinals. Fieldcrest East ended a great season with a 21-1 record.
