Group requesting donations for graduation

The Fieldcrest East Middle School 8th Grade Graduating Committe, consisting of parents of 8th grader's at East, has organized to request donations from the Fieldcrest Community to help make the graduation from Middle School to High School a memorable event. Budget cuts and lack of funding have prompted this. We are hoping that with donations from parents and the community, we can hold a dance, make a memory book and memory video for the 8th graders to keep and cherish with their childhood school days memories.
Any type of donation, food, goods, gift certificates, cash or decorations will be greatly appreciated. The dance has a theme of Hawaiian/Beach Party. If you are able to donate please contact either Christy Kline at 815-854-2640 or Kathy Sullivan (during the day) at Fieldcrest East at 815-853-4558 or in the evening at 815-853-4147 to arrange for pick-up or to get further information.
