Minonk State Bank building

The Minonk State Bank was located at the northwest corner of Fifth and Chestnut Streets. The bank was relocated to its present location on West Fifth Street in the 1960's and is now known as the Alpha Community Bank. The building is now occupied by Leiken Law Office.

The bank corner steps was a popular hangout for young men on warm summer nights. See story. The steps were removed years ago when the bank moved and the building was remodeled.
