The Petie Eich at the IC depot - early 1900's

This photo of the Illinois Central depot was taken from Fifth Street looking south. It is believed that the train was the one run by Petie Eich. The train took the I. C. spur through Flanagan and Pontiac. We think that Petie Eich is the third person from the right. Note the man in the middle playing the flute. The photo is the courtesey of Albin Johnson and Raymond Schneider.
