John V. Willems - March 20, 2002
John V. Willems, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, died Wednesday,
March 20, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginger" Willems of
Albuquerque; son, Steven L. Willems and wife Connie DeHerrera of Tijeras,
NM, daughter, Janice M. Willems of Sandia Park, NM; son, John H. Willems
and wife Kelly of El Paso, TX; six grandchildren; sister, Lila Miller and
husband, Loren of Leesburg, FL; and sister-in-law, Vona Willems of
Georgetown, TX. Services were held Monday, March 25, 2002, with Rev.
Fred Whipple officiating. Interment has taken place at Santa Fe National
Cemetary. He was the son of John H. Willems and Mary Willems Smith, who
preceded him in death.
