He was born July 15, 1918, in Tennessee, IL, the son of George and Nellie Webb. He married Marie N. Webb on April 9, 1947, in Colchester. She survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Marlene Russell, Tuscon; one son, Daniel Webb, Minonk, and one granddaughter.

Webb operated grain elevators in and around Minonk for 25 years, retiring in 1978. He served in the military during World War II in the European Theater.
