Esther Marie Stimpert 89 of 411 Lincoln, Minonk died at 11:15 AM Monday May 21, 2001 at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday May 25, 2001 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Minonk with the Rev. Daniel Gansch-Boythe officiating. Burial will be in Minonk TWP Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Folkers Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk and one hour before the service on Friday at the Church. Memorials may be made to the church or to the Alzheimer's Association.

Mrs. Stimpert was born September 17, 1911 in Rural Dana the daughter of John and Pauline Voss Barth. She married Ray Stimpert on January 12, 1941 in Minonk. He Survives. Also surviving are two sons Dean (Carol) Stimpert and Don (Marie) Stimpert both of rural Dana, seven grandchildren Laurie (Kevin) Bailey of El Paso, Todd (Amy) Stimpert of Minonk, Kevin (Melody) Stimpert of Minonk, Brian Stimpert of Normal, Felicia Stimpert of Toluca, Michelle Stimpert of Joliet and Victor Stimpert of Rural Dana, and nine great grandchildren.

Her parents, one brother and two sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Stimpert was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School.
