A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Stevens at St. Teresa Church in Palatine on Saturday, October 27.

Mrs. Stevens was born August 6, 1923 in Minonk the daughter of Frank and Bernice Halagiera. She married William Stevens in Minonk on June 20, 1952. He survives along with two sons, Bill of Palatine, IL and James of Naperville, IL and two daughters Janet Bartechi of Palatine and Cheryl Stevens of Villa Park.

Also surviving are three sisters Rachel Mitchell of Trumbull, CT, Jean Bastic of Palos Heights, Ruth Schneider of Minonk and two brothers Frank Halagiera of Marseilles and Bernard Halagiera of Plainfield.
