Fae E. Schmidt obituary

Funeral Services for Fae E. Schmidt, 83, of 335 West Fourth St., Minonk will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday at the Folkers-Froelich Memorial Home with Rev. Loretta Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Minonk Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minonk Presbyterian Church or to Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minonk.

Mrs. Schmidt died at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at her residence.

She was born November 25, 1918 in Marshall County the daughter of William and Dora Schwartz Feazel. She married Robert C. Schmidt, October 17, 1943 in Peoria. He died October 26, 1988.

Surviving is a daughter, Pat Grace of Minonk. Other survivors include a number of cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Schmidt was a graduate of Illinois State University and in earlier years taught in the Pekin and Chabanse school systems. With her husband, she owned and operated Schmidt Drugs in Minonk from 1948 to 1981. She was a member of the Minonk Presbyterian Church and was a former member of the Minonk PEO.
