Kristina Rossman - September 26, 2002

RUTLAND -- Kristina "Tina" Marie Rossman, 36, of Rutland died at 8:20 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 26, 2002) at her residence after a long illness. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rutland, the Rev. James Kretz officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Minonk. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, with a rosary recited at 8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to an educational fund for her daughter in care of Alpha Community Bank; St. Mary's Hospital Home Healthcare, Streator; or the American Cancer Society.

She was born Aug. 5, 1966, at Martin Army Hospital, Fort Benning, Ga., a daughter of Richard and Kathy Stokowski Rossman.

Surviving are her parents of Rutland; one daughter, Courtney, at home; one sister, Laura Hinthorne, Rutland; her paternal grandmother, Marge Rossman, Toluca; her maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Stokowski, Minonk; two nephews, Austin and Parker; and one niece, Terra.

Her paternal grandfather, Joe Rossman, and maternal grandfather, Jim Stokowski, preceded her in death.

Kristina graduated from Minonk-Dana-Rutland High School and Patricia Stephens Business School.

She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister who loved life and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
