James M. Richardson obituary

James M. Richardson 54 of R. R. Rutland, Illinois passed away at 5:41 PM, Sunday, July 15, 2001 at BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal, Illinois. His Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 18, 2001 at St. Patrick-s Catholic Church in Minonk with the Rev. Don Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick-s Catholic Cemetery, Minonk. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at Froelich Memorial Home in Minonk.

Memorials may be directed to W.D. Boyce Council Troop # 878 in Minonk.

Mr. Richardson was born May 9, 1947 in Springfield, Illinois, the son of William L. and Roberta Booth Richardson. He married Kay J. O-Neill June 13, 1970 in Springfield. She survives, along with his father of Springfield, three sons James of St. Thomas USVI, Patrick of Ft Myers, Florida and Christopher of St. Louis, Missouri, one daughter Jennifer Richardson of Westmont, IL. and two granddaughters.

Also surviving are three brothers William, John and Jeff all of Springfield and two sisters, Joanne Abrams on New Berlin, Illinois and Janet Issacson of Longmont Colorado. In 1971 He started SMF Inc. of Minonk where he served as owner and President. He was a member of The Society of Engineer Manufacturing. He graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Engineering in 1971.
