Albert J. Flipowicz Phillips - November 5, 2002
Albert J. Flipowicz Phillips, 75, of 207 Locust, Minonk, died at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 5, 2002) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minonk.
His graveside service will be at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. Folkers-Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, is in charge of arrangements.
Albert was born Jan. 19, 1927, in Pardee, Va., a son of Albert and Nellie Soravich Flipowicz. Surviving are two sisters, Mildred Metheny, Calvert City, Ky.; and Helen Cornwell, Paducah, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Albert was a veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion Post 142 in Minonk for 39 continuous years. Albert was a resident of Minonk for over 50 years, and was a union laborer in Road Construction. |
