Anna Konwinsli - September 2, 2001

The funeral of Anna "Connie" Konwinski, 101, of Minonk will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk. The Rev. Donald Henderson and the Rev. Neri Greskoviak will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Minonk. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, with a rosary recited at 7:30 p.m.

She died at 12:20 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 2, 2001) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minonk, where she had been a resident.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Church, Minonk, or Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minonk.

She was born May 22, 1900, in rural Flanagan, a daughter of Stanley and Mary Ziemer Gollon. She married Anthony Konwinski on Aug. 2, 1928, in Springfield.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Stokowski, Minonk; two sons, John Konwinski, Minonk; and Stanley Konwinski, Marseilles; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Frances O'Connor; one infant brother; three sisters; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Konwinski was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk. For more than 40 years she had worked in restaurants, including C.I. Lewis Restaurant, the Morrison Chocolate Shop and the Coral Lounge Restaurant, all in Minonk.
