Helen B. Hock - July 10, 2002

Helen B. Hock 76 of 430 W. Fifth St. passed away at 10:12 AM Wednesday July 10, 2002 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Saturday July 13, 2002 at St. Patrick-s Catholic Church, Minonk with Fr. Dan Wilder officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Minonk. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Folkers Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick-s Catholic Church, Minonk or to Alpha Community Bank in Helen-s name for the purchase of a memorial for the Midwest Kidney Center at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Mrs. Hock was born December 25, 1925 in Gridley the daughter of James B. and Mamie Kratz Reeves. She married Raymond F. Hock on October 4, 1952 in El Paso. He passed away on July 25, 1993. Surviving are two daughters, Suzanne (Dan) Danner of 9 Graystone Ct., Bloomington and Mary (Mike) Donnelly of 2812 Greenfield Rd., Bloomington, four grandchildren, Nathan (Christine) Danner of Bloomington, Melanie Danner of Normal and Michelle and Matthew Donnelly of Bloomington, two brothers, Bernard Reeves of El Paso and Earl Reeves of Oswego and two sisters Loretta O-Rourke of Bloomington and Dorothy (Norbert) Petri of Minonk.

Her parents and two brothers, James and Virgil Reeves, preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Patrick-s Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a homemaker and a former employee of State Farm Insurance Company.

Helen will always be remembered for her strong will and courage as a hemodialysis patient for the past ten and a half years. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be dearly missed.
