Funeral service for Mr. Hill will be 10:30 AM Saturday August 4, 2001 at the Folkers Froelich Memorial in Minonk with the Rev. Harry Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Minonk TWP Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the memorial home. Memorials may be made to the Heritage Manor, Minonk.

Mr. Hill was born January 26, 1906 in Mt. Carmel the son of Morris and Aquilla Muncy Hill. He married Chlora Brewer on June 16, 1927 in Lacon. She died April 17, 1994. Surviving are four daughters Iris Ketchmark of Minonk, Janice Paroleck of Palos Hills, Joyce Shelton and Mary Ann Schwartz, both of Des Moines, IA, two sons Roy G. Hill of Hughes Springs, Texas and Larry Hill of Minonk, one sister Esther of MO, 26 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by two daughters Verna Block and Virginia Fay Hill, four brothers and four sisters.

Mr. Hill was a member of the Minonk Baptist Church.
