A memorial service for Mrs. Hauth will be 7:00 PM Tuesday February 19, 2002 at El Paso Church of the Nazarene. A funeral will be held at a later date at Hessling Funeral Home, Honesdale, PA with burial to follow in Girdland Cemetery, Gridland, PA. Folkers Froelich Memorial Home is in charge of local Arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to El Paso Church of the Nazarene, 282 W. Main, El Paso or to the Bro Menn Hospice, Virginia St. at Franklin St, Normal, IL 61761.

Mrs. Hauth was born September 3, 1907 in Freeville, NY the daughter of Nathanael B. and Martha S. Harris Smith. She married Herman Hauth on April 2, 1928 in Clifton Springs, NY. He passed away on March 3, 1994. Surviving is one son, Richard L. (Ruth Ann) Hauth of Honesdale, PA, three daughters, Louise F. Hauth of Minonk, Hope E. (Allen) Schutz of Honesdale, PA and Virginia J. (Charles) Bossinger of White Plains, NY, SIX grandchildren and THIRTEEN great grandchildren.

Her parents, four brothers and one grandchild preceded her in death.
