Gail F. Cullen - October 29, 2001

Gail F. Cullen, 61, of Buffalo Grove, formerly of Minonk, died Monday (Oct. 29, 2001) at Northwest Community Healthcare Center, Arlington Heights.

His memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Visitation will be for one hour before the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Tributes Chairman, 291 Hastings, Highland Park, IL 60035.

Mr. Cullen was born Sept. 16, 1940, in Flanagan, a son of Eldon and Marjorie Broers Cullen. He married Karen D. Spence. She survives.

Other survivors include his mother, Marjorie Cullen, Washington; a daughter, Kelly (David) Lochbaum, Geneva; one brother, Jack Cullen, Washington; one sister, Carol (Michael) Johnson, Collierville, Tenn.; and his father-in-law, Kenneth Spence, Robinson.

Also surviving are one grandchild, Brendan Lochbaum; one sister-in-law, Marsha (Dennis) Wood, Zionsville, Ind.; and loved by many nieces and one nephew.

His father preceded him in death.

Gail was Vice President, Treasurer and Controller in Consumer Finance with Allstate in Northbrook from October 1964 to January 1991, then became Vice President of Finance Administration for F.M.D. in Lincolnshire from May 1995 until January 1999.

He received his B.A. at Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington in the class of 62 and his M.B.A. from Tulane University in New Orleans in the class of 64. He was Consul of Sigma Chi Fraternity at Illinois Wesleyan.

He loved golfing whenever possible in various places including Scotland and Ireland.
