Anne L. Parks, 82, of Rushville, passed away at 9:43 PM, Friday, November 8, 2019, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

She was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1936, at her family's home in Beardstown, Illinois, the daughter of Willard and Amanda (Anderson) Luttrell.

Surviving are seven children Dianne Ward and husband Don of Rushville, Virgil McGinnis and wife Mary of Anderson Lake, Ronda Briney of Rushville, Mark Ballard and wife Geanine of Tucson, Arizona, Theresa Curless and husband David of Peoria, George Parks of Minonk, and Juli Murray and husband Andy of Henry, 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter Jessica Curless, one grandson Jimmy Sons, one brother Dale Luttrell and four sisters Lavina Dailey, Alice McKnight, Lillian Thompson and Lois Matthews.

Anne worked from 1969, as a Certified Nurses' Assistant at Minonk Manor and later the Lida Home. She moved to Sheridan, Wyoming, where she was a private caregiver. After her return to Illinois, in 1998, she was a private care giver in Rushville, retiring in 2006.

She enjoyed playing bingo and was a Chicago Cubs fan.

Services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 14, 2019, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville, with David Haney officiating. Interment will follow in the Beardstown City Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon to 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 14, 2019, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the Phoenix Opera House in Rushville.
