EL PASO - Cindy L. Folkers, 69, of El Paso, IL, died Wednesday night at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

She was born in Streator, IL, to Jacob and Thelma Brewer Folkers.

She is survived by her sister, Bobbie (Rich) Carey of Minonk; her brother, Terry (Dawn) Hasty of El Paso; and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents; sister, Beverly Folkers; brother, Leonard Hasty; brother, Robert Folkers; and a nephew, Tyler Carey.

Cindy enjoyed riding motorcycles, and she loved baking cookies and Angel food cakes from scratch.

Per Cindy's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded by the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso, IL. Private scattering of ashes and a celebration for family will be held at a later date.
