Corn measurers, swallows, and the Johnsons - July 14, 2002

Melanie Spayer and Judy Olson are about as high as the corn on the Fourth of July which means the corn is about 5 feet 5 inches tall.

These baby barn swallows are waiting for their mother to feed them in the porch of Michael Stagliano.

Marilyn and Albin Johnson of San Clemente, CA spent the Fourth of July week in his home town of Minonk. They are pictured with his old classmate Stanley (Doc) Konwinski in the middle.
