Birds, car and people - May 14, 2001

These indigo buntings shown here sharing a meal
with a chipping sparrow are a rare site in the Minonk area. They only stay for a week or so before heading off to their northern summer home.

Tutti and Barb Flynn are shown here in the last day at the office of the Minonk Baking Company as the bakery shut down for good on May 10, 2001.

Joe and Joyce Limbaugh are enjoying their restored 1963 Buick Skylark. Joe sold the car in 1979 and bought it back in 1999 and restored it with the help of local bodyman Mike Gerdes. 1963 was the only year that this body style was used and the 215 V8 engine was the smallest V8 engine made. replica watches
