Dogwood tree and rose breasted grosbeaks - May 5, 2002

After a mild winter, this dogwood tree in front of the residence of Russell and Donna Rae Eilts on Short Street decided to bloom for a change.

Three rose breasted grosbeaks on a feeder is a rare sight. A fourth grosbeak was also sighted as these rare birds stop off on their trek northward to their northern summer home.
