"Cool Stuff" Auction and Soup Supper Nov. 4

You will be able to place silent bids for a variety of items at the "Cool Stuff" Auction on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at St. John\'s United Methodist Church, 202 N. Walnut St., Wenona. Silent auction opportunity will be available during the Soup & Sandwich Supper from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Then the live auction bidding will begin at 7:15 p.m., with auctioneer John Lauf presiding.

More donations continue to arrives, with the following partial listing of items for sale:  collectible Sports Memorabilia ( cards, newspapers, signed balls); collectible uncirculated Silver Dollars; Hand-made wooden items; toys; jewelry; crocheted items; purses with surprises inside; homemade baby items; picnic bag & service for 2; Celebrating Holiday Basket; hand-made burlap fall wreath; Christmas ornament towels; kitchen doll towels; hand-painted china items; limited edition "Joe Farmer" from Fun on the Farm with Farmall Hamilton Collection; limited edition "Chief Furry Fighter" from Furr-ever Firefighter Hamilton Collection; custom computer design package of stationery, note cards, envelopes and business cards; baked goods and other assorted items.

The Soup & Sandwich Supper will be available for a donation. The menu will be vegetable beef soup, chicken noodle soup, potato soup; ham salad, turkey, pimiento cheese spread sandwiches; a variety of desserts; coffee, tea, lemonade. 

St. John\'s United Methodist Church is handicap accessible to all levels.
This event is sponsored by St. John\'s Wenona and Minonk United Methodist Churches with all proceeds going to the mission of building the much-needed Education & Recreation Center at Cunningham Children\'s Home in Urbana, IL, a mission of the United Methodist Women for 122 years.
