Corny of the Cornbelters and Spike of the Edge helped the Fieldcrest cheerleaders start off Summer Reading with lots of enthusiasm! Over 120 children and young adults are signed up, and over 65 adults! Reading Takes You Everywhere!

The Fieldcrest football squad also helped with the Kickoff, as well as coming back to help with the Bike Rodeo.

After making African drums, the youngest kids practiced their drumming with Debra.

The 1st and 2nd graders decorated their own binoculars, getting ready to see all sorts of sights!

Dozens lined up to pet the snake that visited along with Forest Park Nature Center!

The first - ever Library Bike Rodeo was a great success, with all kinds of safe biking skills practiced, and new helmets from OSF and Thinkfirst Illinois.

We learned all about drones from Dale Schumacher of Caterpillar, who demonstrated the drone flying high over the library, too!
