DECATUR - Raymond Rients, 58, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 in his home.
Ray was born February 26, 1959 in Pontiac, Illinois, the son of Kenneth and Beverly (Blan) Rients. He was a school teacher at MacArthur High School retiring last year with over thirty years of service. Ray enjoyed golfing and online gaming with friends.
He is survived by his brother Jim Rients and wife Elaine of East Peoria.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents.
