Obituary: Adam M. Kingen, 50 - May 27, 2019
Adam M. Kingen, 50, of Minonk, IL passed away at 4:09 p.m. on Monday, May 27, 2019 at the Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

Adam was born on December 13, 1968 in LaSalle, IL a son of Albert Wayne and Vida Gerdes Kingen. He married Louise "Weezy" Allen on June 14, 2002 in Minonk. She survives.

Survivors also include three daughters, Aimee (David) Roberson of Pekin; Abigail Kingen of Pekin; Maribeth Fatheree-Kingen of Kappa; two sons, Stephan (Ashley) Arbogast of Ellsworth; John Wesley (Sierra) Kingen of East Peoria; three sisters, Diane (Tom) Newhalfen of Henry; Susie (Steve) Park of Minonk; Amy Beer of Benson; two brothers, Jim (Wendy) Kingen of Varna; Mike (Val) Kingen of Rutland; nine grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Fred(Fran) Allen of Minonk.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Adam worked at SMF in Minonk for 25 years as a quality supervisor.

Adam was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, ABATE and the NRA.

He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and his fur babies. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 3-7p.m. at the Goldstar Banquet Center, 568 North Chestnut Street Minonk, IL. Cremation will be accorded. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk is handling arrangements for the family.
