Obituary: David A. Cremer, 70 - October 17, 2017
David A. Cremer, 70, of Minonk, passed away at 10:24 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 17, 2017) at OSF HealthCare Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.

He was born Nov. 14, 1946, in Streator, to Walter and Bernadine Bell Cremer. He married Diana Lee Hanson on June 16, 1968, in Minonk. She passed away July 14, 2016. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his two sons, Todd (Nancy) Cremer, Minonk, and Troy (Deb) Cremer, Normal; four grandchildren, Collin Raye Cremer, Justin David Cremer, Andrew (Audra) Noyes and Raquele Jaso; and his beloved dog, Buddy.

David was an Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He worked at several local auto body shops as an auto body repairman, last working and retiring from Fender Menders in Oglesby. He enjoyed taking road trips with his wife on his Goldwing motorcycle and spending time with his family camping and fishing.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Oct. 29 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk. Pastor Ed Sinclair will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded.
