 John A. Ahrens, 95, of Minonk, died at 3:55 p.m. Thursday (July 7, 2016) at Heritage Health, Minonk.
Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Minonk, with Pastor Joy Miller officiating.
Visitation: 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church.
Burial: 2:45 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Lawndale Township. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, is handling arrangements.
Memorials: Immanuel Lutheran Church, Minonk, or a charity of the donor's choice.
Survivors: wife, Marga Schmetgen Ahrens; three children, Arnold (Juanita) Ahrens, Germantown Hills; Elvira Brooks, Benson; and Karen (Kevin) Ketchmark, Birch Tree, Mo.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
