Pictured above is the new playground equipment installed at the Fieldcrest Primary school in Minonk. The new equipment cost around $30,000. The money was raised over the past 5 years through fund raisers sponsored by the Fieldcrest South PTO and organized and spearheaded by Gloria Ehrnthaller and Amanda Whited.
The playground surface is made of soft synthetic material to minimize scratches and bruises when falling.
The kids are finding the new playground equipment a fun way to spend the afternoon.
A bench sits in the corner for parents or teachers to monitor the children's activity.
