The Minonk City Council in a reconsideration vote Monday night approved a Special Use Permit to JIMAX. This follows a rejection of the permit at last Tuesday night's regular city council meeting. The motion to approve was made by Lisa Junker and seconded by Jonathan Stears who both, along with Julie McNamara, voted against the permit last week. The vote was unanimous this time.
The council also unanimously approved a Special Use Permit to JIMAX for grinding concrete at the site of the former Young's Garage building at the corner of Sixth and Chestnut streets.
