St. Pauls Church Carillon needs replacing

Do you love to hear the St Pauls Carillon playing on a sunday evening? We need your help to keep the beautiful chimes going. The Carillon has to be replaced, due to the company can not get parts for the existing unit. The cost to replace the unit is $5580. St. Pauls is asking for donations to help the church replace the carillon unit. Your help would be greatly appreciated and you can be a part of keeping a St. Pauls church tradition going.
You can send the money to St. Pauls Church, Fifth St, Minonk, IL 61760.

FHS Drama Department Selected

The Fieldcrest High School Drama Department's production of M*A*S*H which was presented earlier this month, has been selected to perform at the 2013 Illinois High School Theatre Festival at the University of Illinois this January. High schools throughout the state annually submit their shows in hopes of performing at this event. The Theatre Festival then sends out respondents to each of these performances and judge them based on several guidelines. The cast of M*A*S*H will be performing an abbreviated version of their show in front of a group of their peers on Saturday, January 12th at the festival.
Over 4000 high school students attend this festival each year.
