Sheron E. Seanard, 77, of Dana, IL, passed away at 4:50 a.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born November 20, 1941 in Rochelle, IL to Daniel and Nelda (Fuller) Craig. She married J.A. Seanard on April 9, 1961 in Dana, IL. He survives.

Also surviving are her children, J.A. (Kathy) Seanard, Jr. of Dana, IL, Terresa Byler of Toluca, IL, Hugh "Boone" (Chaylene) Seanard of Eli, IA; one sister, Beverly (Jim) Kapraun of Benson, IL; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Sheron was a licensed cosmetologist for Spurgen's Department Store in Streator and Princeton retiring in the early 1990's. She later worked as a waitress for Terresa's Diner and Bakery where she did some of the baking and cake decorating. She was also well known for her delicious pies. She was a member of Central Church of Christ in Streator and Order of the Eastern Star. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk, IL. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home in Minonk and 30 minutes prior to services on Saturday. Burial will be in Dana Cemetery.
