Street Fair on Fifth StreetThis picture of a street fair in 1899 is looking west on Fifth Street from Main Street. Notice the old Minonk fire whistle in the middle right and further down the old St. Paul's Church steeple. This picture was taken by Henry Pfaffle who ran a photography place at the southwest corner of Fifth and Walnut. |
