Minonk holds annual Parade of Lights

Hardy spectators braved the cold weather to witness the 23rd annual Minonk Parade of Lights.  The parade this year was bigger and better than ever.  Fireworks at the north end of town preceded the parade which began at 6:30.  Attendance this year was down due to the 15 degree temperature and icy roads and sidewalks that were the result of a 6 inch snowfall and ice storm the day before that made travel hazardous.
