This years Stop -n- Shop will be at a new-larger location at 568 N. Chestnut Street ( the old Green Tree Pharmacy building). There are 18 vendors, Minonks St. Jude team selling fresh wreaths and Anne's Unforgettables Memory Walk team holding a bake sale.
The bake sale starts at 1 p.m. until after the parade or until sold out. The Stop -n- Shop starts at 3 p.m. until after the parade.
Vendors setting up so far are -- Celebrating Home, Scentsy, My Sweet Baby Jane, Woven rugs, Mary Kay, Thirty-one, Cookie Lee, Kuttie Patooty Bowtique, Vault Denim, homemade crafts, Grace Adele, Pampered Chef, Norwex, Jamberry Nails, Tupperware, Yard Art, Gold Canyon, and Brystal braclets.
There will be a raffle table with items donated by the vendors. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Money raised from the raffles will be used to purchase DVD's, stickers,stuffed animals or toys for the Childrens Hospital in Peoria. Anyone wanting to donate items to send to the hospital can drop them off at the Stop -n- Shop or at Betty Barth's @ 315 W. 4th Street.
There are still some openings for vendors. Contact Betty @ 309-432-2168 to get a space -- only 1 vendor per company is allowed.
