This time of year everyone has such a busy schedule and lives can get pretty hectic.  As you get ready to celebrate Christ's birth, take a few moments to pause and think about the real reason for this season.  An Advent Coffee will be held on December 4 at 9:00 AM at the Minonk United Methodist Church.  Business and materialism  have a way of overtaking Christmas, but this is an opportunity to make time and space in our hearts and minds to welcome Advent.  The Advent Coffee has been a tradition of the community churches for several years and is open to everyone.  For information and/or tickets call 309-432-2944.
