The Minonk Business Association will hold its 34th Annual Parade of Lights on Saturday, December 2nd, at 6:30 pm. Fireworks will start the parade. After the parade Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will greet the children at The Sweet Shop.
Stores will be open from 8:00 am until 9:00 pm. Stop and Shop will open at 3:00 pm at City Hall on North Chestnut Street, Minonk.
Also, Minonk's 2nd Annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree will be held on Sunday, November 26th, at 6:30 pm at the corner of Fifth and Chestnut streets. Refreshments will be served and their will be Christmas carol singing by the Village-Aires.
