Black Partridge Participates in the Goodwill Stand Down for Homeless Veterans

Black Partridge, Eureka, IL., participated in the Goodwill Stand Down for Homeless Veterans on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Peoria, IL at Dozer Park. Veterans had access to haircuts, showers, clean clothes including winter supplies, counseling, HIV/STD testing, flu shots, housing information, and other services.
Four members and two HODARS, Carl and Kenda Bond, Mary and Paul Kerby, Cindy Krstich, and the Service to Veteran's Chairman Karen Ghighi, volunteered at the Stand Down event. What a good feeling to help and thank our nearly 200 veterans in attendance. All the veterans and volunteers were served a meal at the event.
