Happy Centennial, Filger Library! Library volunteer Elaine Cinnamon shows Mary Hartzler the display of signatures she helped gather from popular authors. Discarded cards from the card catalog were sent to authors to be autographed, and 16 responded and are on display at Filger Library.
Race to the Library! Assistant librarian Susan Ryan officiates the Matchbox races for excited "drivers" at the Filger Cruise-In Sept. 26. The Matchbox track will be set up again for racing on October 13 from 3:30-4:30. Sign up at the library: call 432-2929.
