PETITIONS FOR NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES:
• TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2010 First day to circulate nomination papers (must be original sheets signed by voters and circulators) for independent candidates.
FILING PERIOD for petitions of candidates seeking election in the Consolidated Election:
• MONDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2010 First day for filing in the office of the local election official {City Clerk} nominating petitions for independent candidates in municipalities.
• MONDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2010 Last day for filing in the office of the local election official {City Clerk} nominating petitions for independent candidates in municipalities.
• MONDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2010 Last day for filing a Statement of Economic Interests with the County Clerk as required by the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. The receipt must be filed on or before this date with the local election official {City Clerk}.
CANDIDATE PACKETS with required forms that must be completed by all candidates, and made available to interested persons will be available beginning September 21, 2010 at the City of Minonk Administration Building, 670 Chestnut Street, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon and between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
